MLP fanbase guide.

You have to be either a hater or a fan to write a fanbase guide. Remember my sonic guide? I'm writing a guide about the fandom that is just as bad.

Let's start...

1. The sane fans. Believe it or not, there are some decent My Little Pony fans out there. They draw in their own original style, they talk properly, they don't baww about how bad gen 1 was, and they can accept that not everyone will like MLP. They should be the ones getting respect and popularity.

2. The vector artists. The ones who draw nothing but MLP vectors. They have absolutely no sense of originality and copy the official MLP:FiM style. They're often the ones who gain popularity too. Luckily most are sane.

3. The perverts. Like sonic recolours, these forever alone fans are one of the main problems in the fandom. They draw ponies in a "sexy" style, mostly as nurses/ humans. They draw pony sex, pony bondage, pony yuri (tonnes of yuri), and probably fap to it all. But the worst ones are the pervs who write pornfics. PONY pornfics. Last time I checked, MLP was a little kid's show, not a porno. They make up words like "stallionhood" and "marehood". But you know the worst thing about it? Almost all of them are male. That's right, adult males watching a kid's show about magical, colourful cute talking ponies and fapping to porn of it. Heck, some even RP with ponies and pretend to have sex with them. All I can say is welcome to the worsening cancer of MLP's fanbase.

4. The meme users. Fans who will retaliate to anyone's comment with a "haters gonna hate" or an "I'm gonna love and tolerate the shit out of you". 20% cooler, You are going to LOVE ME, ponies gonna pwn, I could go on. They're all examples of the retarded meme spawn from My Little Pony.
4.5 The fail pun fags. The smug little shits who mix words up with anything to do with My little pony. Nopony, everypony, Silly filly, anyhoof, etc. They have no idea how stupid they sound.

5. The dicks. "It's okay to not like things, it's okay, but don't be a dick about it..." Old song has SERIOUSLY gotten old. Bronies usually post this annoying crap onto anti-MLP groups/ stamps and expect everyone to give them free internets.

6. The ponyfiers. Dear lord. These guys will go out of their way to rape any character from other fandoms and turn them into a pony. It's almost impossible to find a character on dA that has not been ponyfied. They've even ponyfied rule 34. Which leads to more and more ponyfication. It's insane. It's almost as if they do this on purpose.

7. The plz users. The ingenious ones who fight back with pony plz accounts in every single comment. Not very fun to troll, in fact, they usually end up getting really annoying. Often found lurking along the sidewalks of anti-MLP groups.

8. The old MLP haters. The fags who extremely hate the older generation of MLP, just because they love the new show or "the old ponies are ugly and fat and boring." Most don't have any reason at all to hate it.

9. The cross-shippers. These are people who proceed to torture a character from another fandom by shipping them with a retarded pony. It's even worse when they draw that character as a pony.
9.5 The MordeTwi fanfags. These people will ship MordeTwi just because of no clear reason, whether it be a bird looking like Mordecai appearing in MLP or some fan-caused reason. Some are sane, others treat it like the last shipping on Earth. ( by ~TheAlbtraumCitizen)

10. The base fags. Bases, bases everywhere. These fans are constantly using that flash pony creating deviation or a pony base to make generic flutter-sues.
10.5 The recolourers. These fans are not very common, but they exist. They either copy the design of a FiM pony or take a screenshot and scribble all over it. Did I hear someone say sonic? (idea from ~Blackfeather2 )

11. Really butthurt fans. The ones who flock onto an Anti-MLP group and express their butthurt onto it. Usually end up getting about 20 replies. Very fun to troll and screencap.

12. Cosplayers. People who dye their hair and buy ridiculous clown clothing just so they can look like said pony they're dressing up as. (by ~thehappyspaceman01)

13. Missionaries. Sometimes sane, sometimes insane, always annoying. People who watch you and befriend you only so they can try to convince you to like MLP. (by ~thehappyspaceman01)

14. The rabid fanbrats. Most likely to be obvious trolls, these nutcases spam the shit out of everything they don't like in their little fandom. They type IN CAPS LOCK and usually get the banhammer after a few days, seeing as MLP has gotten so popular and so many people will be affected by their trolling. (idea from ~TheGuyWithTheShirt)

15. The retarded. Ones who believe the MLP characters are real. Claim them as real people and post obviously bad photoshopped pics of them next to an MLP character. (by ~DerFuhrerSparky)

16. The generalizers. Even when you're not talking about the bad part of the fanbase, they ignore everything you said and act like you ARE generalizing, then try to say they only wanted to defend the fanbase.
Or the ones who tell you to just IGNORE all the pony templates or recolors being mass produced on the front page, but they just can't ignore the 1/1000000000 anti-pony art. (by ~Why-is-This-Required)

17. The Fanatics. These are the people who, upon exposure to the show, lose all traces of original thought and basically live and breathe MLP. Afterwards, they are only ever seen in MLP-related groups/forums, and ignore or shun anything/anyone not MLP-related. Oh, and usually the only art they make is MLP fanart as well. (by ~Loooska)

18. The White knights. Some bronies want to protect thier beloved Cult (Show), or want to change the minds of "the evil haters", while they write ridicioulessly tl;dr-comments ("Don't like, don't look!" are the most used) to the anti-MLP groups... Or spam it with pony account images (see "the plz users) ( by ~QueenDarkCloud2 )

19. The victims. The ones have succumbed to either the sudden MLP fanart or the lowlife missionaries. They are forced to watch a shitty little baby show, and usually end up becoming part of the fandom. Becoming a disappointment to their fans, they start drawing ponies. Then ponies. Then more ponies. And even more ponies. Until the scarce remains of the art from their previous fandom go pretty much unnoticed and are dominated by stupid pink horses. (idea from ~hypnoface )

20. The Chicken Little. Those who flip out over every new piece of information regarding the show, the toys, and their potential threat to fanon. They proclaim Hasbro is the devil who will drive the show into the ground and worship Lauren Faust like a goddess. They constantly live in fear of the day that their precious show will be ruined and their fanon will be stomped on. A new princess pony? Show inaccurate toys? Different cannon names than fanon names for background characters? Limited information on the next season? Faust left the show?! THE END IS NIGH! (by ~Sherbeht)

21. The clueless. The fans who approve of everything any brony does that supports MLP, no matter how insane it may be. They support everything the bronies do simply because of the fact that they like MLP too, and therefore it is okay to do whatever it takes to make sure MLP gets the attention they think it rightfully deserves, no matter how stupid other people think the bronies in question are acting. 22. The troll army recruits. Once one of them finds an oh so evil hater, they gather their fellow bronies and attack. They proceed to the "autism" article on wikipedia and copy-paste the whole article onto the hater's page. Then they call the hater a pussy when the spam is hidden. Almost impossible to reason with, but stop after getting bored of 10 minutes of posting random fail troll insults and sounding like stupid 9 year olds. (idea from ~Joosh-Face)

23. The assholes. People who like you, watch you, and adore your art, but as soon as they find out you hate the show, they try to convince force you to watch it. If that doesn't work, they'll become complete assholes and troll you. (idea from ~Joosh-Face)

24. The Derpy Fags. Retarded background character with an eye goof appears in show and gets popular very quickly. Nobody cares that she looks retarded. Bronies eventually want her to have a speaking role and she gets it. Now bronies are angry that she is retarded and her name is "Derpy" (need they be reminded that it was their desicion to give her that fucktard name). Bronies start a shitstorm. Suddenly, Hasbro edited the episode in which she appeared and spoke to make her sound less retarded, also removing her name. Bronies are furious.
Bronies come across *Yamino's page. They see that she voiced her opinion against Derpy's name and attributes and for some reason decide she is the culprit. Bronies gather up their troops and bombard her with death threats. Massive lolstock produced. Meaning of "love and tolerance" officially pronounced as bullshit.

25. The Sexual Commenters. These idiots like to make unfunny sexual jokes constantly in the fandom whether or not they are relevant to the situation. They often refer to clopping, wingboners, and "buttsecks" among other things, often done when they spot an element of unintentional innuendo. One example is when Pipsqueak says "Scary, but fun". The sexual commenters had a field day, claiming that he's scared of getting raped ("scary butt fun"). And if you tell them to stop having such a sick mind because it's a kids's show, they will tell you to "get off the Internet" because apparently, it being the Internet is a some kind of valid excuse for them to crack rude, unnecessary jokes about an innocent cartoon. 26. The Selfish Brony. These bronies see the show as a gift for them, and it's for no-one else. As a result, they get to yap yap yap to the creators about what they want (like canon Derpy, or a "Fluttershy is a tree" reference) and if they don't get it, they will whine like little babies about how Hasbro isn't treating them nicely, or catering to them properly. They fail to understand that Hasbro still targets the show at kids, and that the company is in charge of what goes into an episode, not the bronies. Selfish bronies also claim that kids should not watch the show, because it's "for them" and how it's "the manliest shit on Earth". (by ~Eternities22)

27. The Lesbian Dash fans. The yuri involving Rainbow Dash may be caused by these fans, for calling her lesbian just because she's a tomboy, or because of her hair. ( by ~TheAlbtraumCitizen)
